Hello all, When I was very young in the summer of 1969, July to be exact, I saw a movie that left an indelible impression upon me but need the title to it! I think my parents probably regret taking such a young kid to this film 'cause it raised all kinds of questions from me and back then, when parents told you to be quiet, you did so. It was a drama, possibly British or French. Black and White...I think....can't remember if there were subtitles. From my vague recollection, it was about a teen brother and sister, and a same age girl that comes between their close realtionship. The boy and girl may have run away during a storm (in a boat on a churning river) and end up drowning I think... Just remember that is was a very dark drama. Film noir? I thank you kindly for your knowledge and time spent brainstorming!
