Fake Coogi Fur Hoodies

Beware of the Coogi fur hoodies from Hong Kong, China. They may potentially be counterfeits. Several traits that are usually found in fakes are clearly displayed in the listings.
The first of which is the zipper. The hoodie on the left is an authentic coogi hoodie, the one on the right is a fake. Notice that the zipper is different. It actually has more detail when you see it in person. The more detailed zipper is more difficult to manufactrue, so fakes are not likely to have it. Also, if you reference to other guides, other fake coogi hoodies have the same zipper as the picture of the fake one on here the right.
Notice from the pictures that the fur on the fake is also lower quality. Notice how it is uneven and kind of rough looking. The authentic hoodie has very even fur. The fur is soft and feathery. It feels fuzzy and fluffy in person.

The second indication that these hoodies are fake are that the buttons that are on the hoodies are supposed to have a small CG design engraved into them as shown in the picture on the left. The fakes have cheap probably plastic rhindstones in place instead of the real buttons. This is also because it is harder for the counterfeiting manufacturer to make the buttons with the CG design.

The last indicator that I have found that these coogi items are fake are that if the tags are at all displayed, they do not have an item number and color like the size and color number displayed on the tag in the left picture. Usually the the back side of the tags will be displayed to conceal the item's infomation.

Remember that buying counterfeit items of any kind supports illegal behavior. By buying counterfeit items, you may aslo be supporting organized crime and unregulated manufacturers where child labor is used to produce items that steal from the value of brand name merchandise. The people who produce counterfeit items know that it's illegal behavior. If they are producing illegal merchandise, they are probably producing it in a cheap unlawful way too. They could be using child labor, be dumping toxic waste, and using who knows what materials. There is just no incentive for them to care.
