ssautochrome balanced perspective

I just read a guide that was a major flame of ssautochrome. I've bought quite a few turbo products from ssautochrome and my experience has been very consistent. Two things have stood out. Ultra fast shipping. Items expected in 4 days usually arrive in 3. Second, and this is why I first dealt with SSAutochrome, is very gepetitive pricing. Last year my brother in law and I put together a custom turbo kit for his 1.8 Mazda Miata largely with parts from SSAutochrome and the whole thing came together for around $1,400.00. 220hp at the rear wheel for $1,400.00. We've even discussed getting together with SS to put together a formal kit. Whenever I purchase a part for significantly below market value, I check it for defects like the author of the guide I've referred to experienced. I've not had the experience with SS but I have had the same experience with undressed welds on inexpensive parts which were quickly rectified PRIOR to assembly with no problems down the road. I would hope that SS can work with the angry customer in question to find a mutually satisfactory resolution. By the tone of the guide I read it seems unlikely that any useful discussion could take place. SS does have a phone number. I've never had occasion to call it, but I found it within about 3 minutes of searching while I was doing my due diligence before plunking down my hard earned cash for a part who's price seemed too good to be true. I do hope that those who read the rantings of an angry customer with questionable mechanical expertise will take the time to make their own judgement of a vendor that I've had nothing but good experiences with. Yes, I will continue to spend my hard earned cash with SS. When I have a choice between buying from an unknown and from SS I go with SS. Someday I might decide I have too much money and go for extremely high end turbo equipment, but for now I'm very pleased with very economically priced quality products.
