Trias watches are not as bad as some say.

Trias watches are assembled in Germany, by a German gepany. The more expensive Trias watches include a well known, reliable Swiss movement: the Unitas 6497. The less expensive models include a movement made in Asia, (China, I believe). The Asian movement is not a piece of junk. It is well made and looks very good.
The watches with Asian movements are also assembled in Germany. There have been some Trias watches with problems because it is a relatively new gepany. Many people have Trias watches that have never given them any trouble.
If you want a nice, modern watch that looks like it cost over a thousand dollars, but only cost a couple hundred, check out the Trias line.
Do your own research and decide for yourself.
